Following charges for Wisconsin’s alleged fake elector scheme organizers on June 4th, Arizona arraigned the last of the 18 involved in the scheme there.  Michigan completed preliminary hearings for six more alleged signers.

June 18th, Trump campaign attorneys Boris Epshteyn and Jenna Ellis, and former U.S. Senate candidate Jim Lamon, were arraigned in a Phoenix courtroom on conspiracy, fraud and forgery charges.  All pleaded not guilty, and will face trial beginning November 14th.  Former President Donald Trump and four others remain unindicted co-conspirators in the case.

In Michigan, six apparent signers of the fake electoral college document appeared in a Lansing courtroom in early June, where their attorneys attacked the special prosecutor’s credibility. The Michigan Advance reports that prosecutors attempted to establish that the signers knew the document would be submitted as a genuine slate of electors, not just a backup if the state’s outcome was overturned.   No trial date has been set.

Three organizers of the scheme, Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis, and Mike Roman were charged with felony forgery by Wisconsin’s attorney general in early June.  No charges have yet been filed against the 10 signers of the Wisconsin document, including a former state GOP chair, two national committee members, and a member of the Wisconsin Election Commission.
